If you are one of those individuals lucky enough to be taking to two wheels this summer but currently have a restricted license, then fear not, your choice of Yamaha models is not so restricted.

Yamaha is pleased to reveal that it now has a restrictor kit available for its outstanding new XJ6 range which limits the power output to 33hp (25kW). For those new riders with a full category A motorcycle license and currently in their 2 year restriction period, this means that you don't have to limit your choice of new Yamaha to just 125cc models.

The best news of all however, is that the kit is free of charge when purchased with a brand new machine (£17.99 if purchased individually)!

The new XJ6 restrictor kit is the latest addition to a whole host of kits available for Yamaha's top selling middle capacity models including the FZ6, MT-03 and XT660R/X.

So, if your next bike is a Yamaha but your license is restricted, don't limit your choices, get down to your local Authorised Yamaha Dealer to talk about the options available.
